The degree

Questions about the degree

Is it a real degree?

Yes. You earn a regular B.Tech or MBA from the partner university, the same degree as every other student of the college.

Who awards the degree?

The partner university awards the B.Tech or MBA, and your college is affiliated to it. Fusion School runs its industry programme inside that college and supports your placements.

Does it count for jobs, government exams and higher studies?

It is a regular university degree, so it counts wherever that university’s degree counts, including an M.Tech, an MS or an MBA later.

Can I go for higher studies afterwards?

Yes. You graduate with a regular B.Tech or MBA from the partner university.

What does Fusion School add?

Industry mentors, projects, internships and placement support, inside the same years and on the same campus.

Who runs Fusion School?

Fusion School is a brand of Myversity eduTech Private Limited, a registered company in India. It has taught and mentored students since 2016, and now works with a partner college in Bangalore: the college and its university give the degree, the classrooms, the labs and the hostel.

Programmes and curriculum

Questions about the programmes

How long are the B.Tech and the MBA?

The B.Tech in Computer Science and AI is four years, full time. The MBA in AI is two years, full time. Both are taught on the partner campus in Bangalore.

Do I study the university’s subjects or Fusion School’s?

Both. The Fusion industry modules run through all eight semesters of the B.Tech and all four terms of the MBA, taught alongside the subjects of your university degree. Each module, with its topics and what you build, is on the programme page. The university’s subjects, credits and exams are published with the partner campus.

Which tracks can I choose, and when?

In the B.Tech, the first two years build the base every engineer needs, and in the third year you choose your track: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Cyber Security. In the MBA, you pick a focus area for your second year: AI and Analytics, AI in Product and Growth or AI in Finance and Operations.

What will I build in the B.Tech?

Projects from the first semester. Examples from the plan for 2027: in year 1, a live scoreboard for your college cricket tournament and a personal expense tracker; in year 2, the ordering backend of a food-delivery style app and a movie recommender trained on real ratings; in year 3, a project in your track, such as a study assistant that answers from your own notes; in year 4, a capstone on a problem from a real company, with your portfolio and GitHub reviewed by mentors.

What will I build in the MBA?

Examples from the plan for 2027: in year 1, a sales forecast for a real small business and a marketing plan built and tested with AI tools, then a summer internship; in year 2, a live project with a company in your focus area and a dashboard a manager uses every week.

Who teaches, and how are classes run?

College faculty, plus mentors who work at Oracle, CRED and Cashfree. Classes run in the tools of the job, such as an IDE, a SQL console or a live website, not on slides alone. Every concept comes with a realistic example you can open and change, and you get regular one-to-one time with an industry mentor.

Can I try a class before I apply?

Yes. In the free sample class you rate five movies and work out a recommendation the way a computer does, which is the idea behind video and shopping apps. It takes about ten minutes, needs no sign-up and works on your phone. It is a taste of year 2 of the B.Tech.

Admission and the test

Questions about admission and the test

How do I get admission?

Ask our team about the official admissions process. This website currently offers practice only: registration, official testing and video interviews are not open here. A practice score is not an application or an offer.

Who can apply for the B.Tech?

Students who have passed, or are taking, class 12 with Physics and Mathematics. The exact eligibility follows AICTE and partner university rules.

Who can apply for the MBA?

Any graduate. Women applicants get additional points in the admission score.

When does the first batch start, and how many seats are there?

Classes start in July–August 2027, with the partner college calendar. The first batch has 60 seats in the B.Tech in Computer Science and AI and 60 in the MBA in AI.

What does the test cover?

The practice test has four sections of 5 questions each: quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and data interpretation, English, and IQ-style patterns.

How long is it, and how is it marked?

20 practice questions in 20 minutes. A right answer earns 1 mark, a wrong answer loses 0.25, and a blank scores 0. Your score is for learning only, not admissions or scholarships.

Where do I take it?

Here in your browser, on a laptop or phone. No camera, registration or personal details are required.

What do I need for the test and the interview?

For the practice test, a laptop or phone with an internet connection. No camera or personal details are needed. Official admissions testing and interview requirements will be announced separately.

Does everyone get the same questions?

Practice questions are selected at random from a public sample bank. The answers are also public; this is not a secure admissions test.

Can I practise first?

Yes. The practice test on the Fusion Admission Test page is free and needs no sign-up: 20 questions in 20 minutes, with the answers explained at the end.

What happens after the test?

You see your practice score and can review the answers and explanations. Nothing is submitted to Fusion School, and no admissions application or interview is created.

What is the video interview like?

Video interviews are not available on this website yet. Ask our team about the planned admissions process. Completing practice does not create an interview or application.

Who checks my answers?

Your browser calculates the practice score. There is no AI review, camera recording or admissions decision.

Fees

Questions about fees, scholarships and loans

What are the fees?

B.Tech and MBA fees are published with the partner campus, along with scholarships and help with education loans.

Who do we pay, and what does the receipt cover?

The partner college, into its own bank account, for every part of the fee, including the Fusion industry programme. The college issues one fee receipt for all of it, and the bonafide certificate your bank needs for an education loan. Never pay anyone in cash or into a personal account.

What is the fee made of?

The same parts for the B.Tech and the MBA. A seat block fee holds your seat once you accept the offer, and is adjusted in the semester 1 fee. The tuition fee and the Fusion industry programme (mentors, projects and placement support) are paid every semester. A caution deposit is paid once, at admission, and refunded when you finish the course. Hostel and mess are added only if you stay on campus.

What is not included in the college fee?

University examination, registration and convocation fees; books and a laptop (a laptop is required from the first semester); and transport and personal expenses.

Are there scholarships?

See the fees page and ask our team about official criteria. Practice scores do not qualify you for scholarships.

Which scores count for the merit scholarship?

Your best result counts. For the B.Tech: JEE Main, KCET, COMEDK or the Fusion Admission Test. For the MBA: CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT or the Fusion Admission Test. The interview must be cleared too.

How do I apply for a scholarship?

You do not apply separately: every applicant is considered, and there is no separate form. The named awards are the Fusion Merit Scholarship, the Women in Technology Scholarship and the Achievement Scholarship for the B.Tech, and the Fusion Merit Scholarship and the Women in Leadership Scholarship for the MBA. One merit award applies, and a women’s or achievement award can be added to it. The amount is written on your offer letter after the test and the interview. Earlier admission rounds have more scholarships.

How are scholarships paid?

A scholarship reduces the fee you pay. It is adjusted in the final-year fee, and shows on the college fee letter as "Scholarship (less)". Scholarships reduce tuition only, not hostel, mess, deposits or university fees.

How does an education loan work?

Because every rupee is paid to the college, banks lend against the college’s own documents. After the test and the interview, the college confirms your admission and your fee, and issues the fee letter and the bonafide certificate your bank asks for. You apply to any bank or lender that funds education, and the loan is paid straight into the college account. We help you with the forms; Fusion School is not a lender. The EMI calculator on the fees page works out the monthly payment.

What if we change our mind?

Our refund policy explains what happens if a student leaves. Read it before you pay anything.

Campus and hostel

Questions about the campus and hostel

Where do classes happen?

On the partner campus in Bangalore, during college hours. Some mentors teach live from other cities or countries.

Which college will I study at?

A partner college in Bangalore, affiliated to the university that awards your degree. We name the campus as soon as the partnership is signed, and each campus has its own page with its facilities, hostel rooms and fees.

Where will my child study and stay?

Classes happen on the partner campus in Bangalore, during college hours. Hostel, food and safety are those of the partner campus; we will share the details, with photos, when the campus is announced.

How are hostel and mess charged?

Separately from tuition, every semester, and only if you stay on campus. The price depends on the room type and the meal plan, and it is paid to the college like every other part of the fee. Scholarships do not reduce hostel or mess.

Placements

Questions about placements

What does "100% placement support" mean?

Every student gets interview training, mock interviews, resume and portfolio reviews, and introductions to companies. We do not promise a job, and no honest college can.

Who runs placements, Fusion School or the college?

Both. Campus placements run together with the partner college. Fusion School prepares you from your first year, not your last, and introduces you to companies through our mentors and their networks.

When do internships and placements start?

Internship opportunities start in the second year. Placement season is in the final year.

Will there be a job at the end?

Every student gets 100% placement support: interview training, portfolio reviews and introductions to companies. We do not promise a job, and no honest college can.
